Dan Bentley has worked as a marine engineer in Hamble, Southampton for over 17 years and has built up an excellent reputation with local boat owners while he was working for companies such as Marine Power and, before that, Sea Power. In June 2021, feeling he had more to offer, Dan decided to set up business on his own, meaning he was not constrained to working in one area and could meet his customer's needs anywhere he is needed. Qualified as a specialist in Volvo Penta, Yanmar and Mercury engines Dan has a loyal customer base and can undertake any work, big or small on any make of engine. He is proud to say that he has recently been contracted to service the boats of Solent Rescue Lifeboats. Bentley Marine Limited are able to offer a wide range of services and, whilst based in Southampton, we are able to travel anywhere we are needed. Unlike many of our competitors, we have workshop facilities and the majority of specialist tools required so we are able to take parts away for work if needed.
